Just up the road from Havlíčkovy sady park, is the charming ‘Harbor’ café. Cute rooms, friendly service and a social mission make it a great addition to the perhaps overcrowded Vinohrady café scene.
Přístav is located on the back streets, so may suffer from lack of foot traffic. They’ve gone for cute and comfortable versus the trendy/industrial/minimal look for their décor. The café sits down a few steps and the first corner room is warm and cozy with books and soft furnishings. The main room is long and comfortable and there’s a bonus back room. Really a lot of space.
They are a social café, helping to integrate people with mental illness into the work force. The coffee brand was Bristot (45 CZK), nothing to rave about but hit the spot. And it came with a cute tiny heart cookie.
It was very quiet on my weekday morning visit so probably a great place to work. They offer cakes plus beer and wine so also a nice place to meet later in the day. On these cold dreary days Přístav is the perfect winter warmer. Kicks for service, mission and relaxibility.
