Troja with its trio of Prague Zoo, Botanical Gardens and Troja Chateau is a lovely green way to spend a summer day in Prague. A walk through Stromovka ended in the Chateau gardens and a frappe at Café Troja.
The warm day convinced me to order a frappe, a drink I continue to order on warm days and am typically disappointed with. Café Troja’s was on the more acceptable end and it was nice sipping it gazing out at the gardens. The café’s interior was empty on this beautiful Sunday but its artsy and classy interior with neutral colors and nice furnishings.
Café Troja serves Espressone coffee, a brand I hadn’t had before. I couldn’t tell if it was good or not in the frappe, but will definitely be back to enjoy another coffee here before the summer is out. Service was friendly and accommodating. Troja gets kicks for location, style and service.
